What you’ll walk away with

Qiskit Fall Fest is a worldwide series of student-run quantum computing events supported by IBM Quantum. No prior quantum experience is required — we start from the linear algebra and build up to running real circuits on IBM Quantum hardware through Qiskit. Every session is in person and open to everyone in the Islamabad area, students and non-students alike.

  1. 01Write and run your first quantum circuit in Qiskit, on real IBM Quantum hardware.
  2. 02Understand superposition, entanglement and measurement well enough to reason about them.
  3. 03Implement a known quantum algorithm end to end and interpret its output.
  4. 04Ship a working project in a team during the closing hackathon.
  5. 05Leave with an IBM Quantum–signed certificate of participation.

Recap of Qiskit 2025

19–21 November 2025 — Our first Qiskit Fall Fest ran over three days at NUST: lectures that built quantum mechanics up from the linear algebra, hands-on Qiskit labs, student talks, and a closing hackathon. Every participant received a certificate signed by IBM Quantum.
